How to use heated socks properly?

  • Choose the right heat setting: the highest setting is ideal for extreme cold, but for everyday use, a lower setting is often sufficient. This extends battery life and the life of the heating wire.
  • Put socks on and off carefully: avoid pulling on the cables. Do not connect the batteries until you already have the socks on.
  • Good fit: socks that do not pinch provide greater comfort and protect the heating system from wear and tear.

How do you wash your heated socks?

Hand wash (recommended)

  • Remove the batteries and place the cap on the cable.
  • Make a lather with lukewarm water and mild hand-washing soap.
  • Soak the socks for 10 minutes and gently move them through the water.
  • Rinse well and gently squeeze out the water (do not wring).
  • Let dry flat or on a drying rack away from direct heat.

Our tip: add a tablespoon of baking soda for extra freshness.

Washing machine (optional)

  • Remove the batteries and place the cap on the cable.
  • Put the socks in a laundry bag to protect them.
  • Select the hand wash program (30°C, max. 600 rpm).
  • Allow to air dry – never in the dryer or on the heater.

  • Never store batteries empty; for longer storage, 50-70% charge is ideal.
  • Charge at least every 2-3 months, even in the off-season.

Store heated socks after the season

  • Disconnect the batteries and store them separately.
  • Store socks clean and dry.
  • Store cool and dry: not in the sun, not in a damp cellar or in extreme cold.

Additional tips for longer life

  • Use a second pair of socks and alternate, this way they wear out less quickly.
  • Keep batteries in shape: even in summer, charge them briefly every few months.
  • Handle cables carefully: avoid pulling or pinching at shoes.

With these care and maintenance tips, you’ll enjoy warm feet longer and your heated socks will stay in top condition.
