Why choose the HeatPerformance® CLASSIC heated insoles?
The HeatPerformance® CLASSIC heated insoles are comfortable, rechargeable heated insoles for cold days and shoes with enough room. This model has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you do not need to wear a separate battery on your shoe, leg or ankle.
The heat is located in the front and middle part of the insole, with a special focus on the forefoot and toes. This is exactly where cold feet are often felt first. The CLASSIC heated insoles are therefore especially comfortable if you quickly get cold feet, spend time outdoors in cold weather or stand still for longer periods in low temperatures.
The CLASSIC is slightly thicker than our PRO heated insole and is best suited for shoes with enough space, such as winter boots, snow boots, wide boots and ski or snowboard boots.
Which shoes are the CLASSIC heated insoles suitable for?
The CLASSIC is mainly suitable for spacious shoes. Your shoe should still close comfortably with the insole inside, and your foot should still have enough room to move.
| Shoe or boot | Does the CLASSIC fit? | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Winter boots | Very suitable | A good choice for cold days, long periods of sitting or spending extended time outdoors. |
| Snow boots or wide boots | Very suitable | Suitable when your shoes offer enough space for a slightly thicker heated insole. |
| Rain boots | Very suitable | Especially comfortable on cold, wet days, as long as the insoles themselves remain dry. |
| Ski or snowboard boots | Suitable if there is enough space | Always check carefully that your foot still feels comfortable and that there is no pressure on the toes or instep. |
| Sneakers, dress shoes or narrow shoes | Usually less suitable | If you have less space, choose the thinner HeatPerformance® PRO heated insole or take a look at our heated socks. |
How long do the rechargeable CLASSIC heated insoles stay warm?
Each insole has a built-in 3.7V / 2200 mAh Li-ion battery. You use the rechargeable heated insoles completely wirelessly, without a separate battery holder. The operating time depends on the heat setting, outside temperature, shoe insulation and the age of the battery.
| Heat setting | Use | Realistic operating time |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest setting | For long-lasting, constant warmth | approximately 7 to 8 hours |
| Medium setting | For cold conditions | approximately 5 to 6 hours |
| Highest setting | For extra warmth in severe cold | approximately 3 to 4 hours |
- For long-lasting warmth, you can start on a higher setting and then switch back to the medium or low setting.
- In well-insulated shoes, the warmth often remains noticeable for longer.
- The actual operating time depends on the outside temperature, shoe insulation, heat setting and battery age.
- A full charge takes approximately 3 to 4 hours on average.
How do you use the CLASSIC heated insoles?
The CLASSIC heated insoles have 3 heat settings. With the included remote control, you can easily adjust the warmth without taking off your shoes. You can also operate the heated shoe insoles manually using the button on the insole itself.
On less cold days, the lowest setting is often already sufficient. In severe cold or when you are standing still for a long time, you can temporarily use a higher heat setting.

Where is the heat located in the insole?
The heating elements are located in the front and middle part of the insole. The battery is integrated into the back part of the insole.
Because cold is often felt first around the toes, the heat is deliberately focused on the forefoot and toes. This allows you to use the battery capacity exactly where you usually need the warmth most.
Can be trimmed to size
The CLASSIC heated insoles can be trimmed at the front along the indicated cutting lines. This allows you to adjust the insole to your shoe size.
Only cut along the official cutting lines and never beyond the smallest indicated size.
Thickness of the CLASSIC insole
The CLASSIC is a comfortable, slightly thicker heated insole for shoes with enough space.
- Thickness at the toes: approximately 0.5 cm
- Thickness in the middle of the foot: approximately 1.8 cm
- Thickness at the heel: approximately 1.5 cm
Material and comfort
The insoles are made from lightweight and flexible EVA foam. This material feels comfortable, provides cushioning while walking and is suitable for sturdy shoes, boots and winter footwear.
The CLASSIC insole has soft cushioning in the heel area and helps absorb shock while walking. However, always pay close attention to the fit: your shoe should still close comfortably with the insole inside. If your shoe already feels tight without an extra insole, we recommend the thinner PRO heated insole or heated socks.
Are the CLASSIC heated insoles tested and certified?
The CLASSIC heated shoe insoles contain a built-in rechargeable battery and an electronic heating system. The battery has been tested according to IEC/EN 62133-2 and includes protection against overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent and short circuit.
This allows you to enjoy warm feet with the reassurance that attention has been paid to battery quality, product safety and reliable use.
