SUPREME BLACK, SUPREME GREIGE or COMFORT
With HeatPerformance® Dual Heating, both the back of the hand and palm are actively heated and the two heating zones can be adjusted separately. Volt models also heat both sides of the hand, but the zones are controlled together. Want to learn more about batteries, heating elements and heat settings? Read how heated gloves work.
A glove offers the greatest freedom of movement. In a mitten, four fingers are kept together, which helps retain natural body heat more effectively. You can choose from SUPREME BLACK, SUPREME GREIGE and COMFORT. Also see our heated mittens.
A model should fit well without being tight around the fingers. Enough room allows the insulation to work effectively and gives your fingers sufficient freedom of movement. Choose a slimmer model when feel and control are particularly important, and a roomier, more heavily insulated model when maximum warmth is the priority.
Many outdoor gloves have a membrane that helps protect against wind and moisture. Where confirmed HeatPerformance TPU specifications apply, the membrane has a water column rating of more than 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 7,604 g/m²/24h. This does not constitute full waterproof certification of the glove.
ULTIMATE Dual Heating, SUPREME Dual Heating and TITAN are among the warmest models. SUPREME is a mitten, which also helps retain the fingers’ natural body heat particularly well.
With HeatPerformance® Dual Heating, both the back of the hand and the palm are actively heated and the two heating zones can be adjusted separately. Volt models also heat both sides of the hand, but the back of the hand and palm are controlled together.
CLASSIC, ULTIMATE, PRO, TITAN, SUPREME and Volt Impulse X are good options for winter sports. The best choice depends on your preferred level of warmth, thickness and freedom of movement.
MOTION and MOTION Dual Heating are particularly practical for these activities. Both models have a fold-back index finger for extra precision.
In general, mittens retain more natural body heat because four fingers share the same compartment. A conventional glove, on the other hand, offers greater freedom of movement.
Do not look only at battery capacity. Also consider the heat setting used, the number of active heating zones, the level of insulation and the outside temperature. Always compare runtimes at the same heat setting.
ALLROUND is a flexible choice for cycling and everyday outdoor use. NATURE is slimmer and works well when freedom of movement is important. THIN can be worn as a thin liner glove under your own gloves.
